The Backroom Project is a free band practice space the allows young people to develop and fulfil their music ambitions. Based in Aspatria, Cumbria. As part of the Aspatria Dreamscheme youth club.

This petition will help gain funding to re-open the facilities to the public for FREE use.

The Backroom project has a full backline that consists of two half stack Marshall amps, a full stack Hartke bass amp and a fully equipped drum kit. All you need to do is plug in and play.

The Backroom Project has 2 experienced sound engineers and a gitar tech at hand. They are here to help you through your practice and give you guidance and advice if you need it.

The Backroom also has a large range of freely accessible instruments for experienced musicians and beginners a like. For a full band to a stripped down acoustic session or learn your first chords. We have something for everyone.
