We need as much support as possible to ensure this permanent closure will not happen; as one of the primary music venues in Reading, it's imperative that young artists, touring bands and music fans do not suffer. As one of the prime locations for young bands to get their music career underway, if this happens, the music scene in Reading will suffer a significant backlash if the venue is closed. It is unfair to remove a platform for young bands and musicians, hence why the venue needs to remain open. Producing such talents as Sylosis, Exit Ten, The Arusha Accord, Viatrophy and more, the new wave of unique and irreplacable talents in Reading will go unheard.
Watching the total climb toward 2,500 means so much because this venue gave me my first break as a musician. We need a final surge of momentum right now to ensure our message hits the council with the weight this scene deserves.

The Face Bar gave me my first break when I had nowhere else to play and seeing this number climb reminds me exactly why we have to save it. If we pick up the pace right now we can hit that first milestone before the end of the day. Please get our link in front of anyone who cares about local music.

Watching the count climb reminds me of the countless nights I spent at The Face Bar watching local bands find their sound. Let's get to that first hundred signature milestone today to show the council that our music community is united and refusing to stay silent.
