The administration confirmed that physical textbook options will remain available for all courses moving forward. We achieved this policy shift by presenting the requested format flexibility directly to the board. I will monitor the upcoming semester registration process to ensure the transition remains consistent with our agreement.

Rasmussen Colleges should give the student between choosing eBooks or physical books. Some students may have eye disabilities that make reading eBooks difficult, others may not have a tablet or an e reader to view books and find it difficult to read and switch back and forth to do work, and others just prefer the physical books to keep and retain for future usage. Since the students pay the tuition, they should have a choice of what format they want to use.

We are approaching the one hundred signature mark which serves as the threshold for my formal request to the dean of academic affairs. I am currently finalizing the presentation of your collective feedback to ensure the administration addresses the accessibility concerns listed in our proposal. Please direct three relevant contacts to this page today so we can present this request with the necessary volume.

I don't like the ebooks. I dont have wifi in my house so I am always having to go other places just to do homework. I cannot study in my house or go back and reread when im doing my assignment....Real books are so much easier to read and take in.

So on top of charging us an obscene amount for tuition, these people are also going to charge us to RENT a digital copy of a book?!?!?! HELL NO, with tuition as high as it is, I am going to keep all the learning materials that are given to me!

I learn more effectively & absorb the information so much better with textbooks. I am just starting at Rasmussen & hope that they are not discontinued. I also have an eye condition which eBooks are too difficult for me to read. Thanks, Sheena.

I can not access e-books. I have issues with my software and becasue of this I can not get e-books. I had one class last semester that I had to do the whole course with out a book. It was hard for me. I learn better by having a hard copy infront of me.

I prefer hard copy books. Ebooks makes it harder for me to focus and I do not like alternating back and forth inbetween tabs. I end up printing everything off the computer anyway which is another expense out of my pocket (paper and cartridges).

I have to always return my ebooks and get a physical book due to getting migraines when i read material online. If Rasumussen sees fit to go all ebooks I will have to withdraw from this school and transfer to a school that better accomodates its students!

I would have also signed if it had not closed already. I dispise ebooks!!! I have had them to many times including all my classes this qtr and also would prefer a regular textbook over an ebook anytime. I really hope we dont go to having only ebooks, even though i only have one qtr left then my internship i still dont like ebooks!!
