Seeing this kind of movement confirms what I have known about our neighbors all along. We are proving that no child in Wilcox should have to struggle through their homework without the right tools.

How can parents help kids with homework? Textbooks should be at the top of the annual budget!
I agree with having books and work books for the students. I am not a fan of the Crome books.
Either textebooks or be prepared to pay for sub par sattilite internet that is way over priced. For such a rural county I am so confused as to why this has to be a thing.
I can't believe that we need to make a petition for administrators at Wilcox County Schools to know this! We live in a very poor county. That's the reason that every child at Wilcox qualifies for FREE LUNCHES! Most likely, the majority of households here DON'T have internet. Why wouldn't text books be provided by default. If a student has internet at home, they could opt out of getting the book. But make books available for the majority of the children whose parents can't afford internet access.
parents cant help with homework without text books...times are changing and we have to adapt to new subjects...we cant do that without old fashion schooling
