Dear Cherokee County Friends, Neighbors, Loyal Guests: In keeping with our mission to make lives simpler and more enjoyable in the markets we operate, RaceTrac is planning to open a new location at Scott Road and Georgia Highway 20, where we believe there is strong demand and support for the service, convenience and job opportunities our stores provide. You can express your support for our plans by signing the attached petition and making sure your commissioners know that you support job creation and additional tax revenue in Cherokee County. We’ll be sharing the petition along with our plans for the new store on November 1 when we go before the Cherokee County Planning Commission to request the property at Scott Road and Georgia Highway be rezoned for Convenience Store/Gasoline use.
