A developer wants to build a 112 unit apartment complex on Allen lane in La Grange Kentucky adjacent to Artisan Park and Anita Springs.
They are doing this with the assumption of Allen Lane being widened to accommodate the additional traffic of a complex this size. The widening of Allen Lane has not been verified. The impact this project could have on surrounding residents such as water pressure, electricity, and other utility issues have also not been investigated at this point.
They are calling the ideal demographic for this complex "Workforce Housing". This 10 acre complex will come within 50ft of existing structures in surrounding neighborhoods.
Each unit will accommodate two vehicles and adding potentially 224 more drivers onto an already conjested intersection of Allen Lane & Commerce Parkway and the Railroad crossing when headed towards HWY 146.
The objective of this petition is to have those that will be directly affected have a voice in the matter.

That road is already a nightmare during school drop off times. adding 200+ cars is just asking for a major accident to happen. find a better spot for this! not right in our backyards.
