As citizens of Johns Creek, we “the community”, request the Planning Commission, Mayor and City Council Members of Johns Creek deny Land Use Petition for RZ-13-008. The developer proposes to change the existing approved plan of 28 lofts to develop 105 multi-family apartment units. This new plan would also include 5,000 SF of office space and 5,000 SF of retail space. We request the city adhere to the adopted Comprehensive Plan that maintains the maximum density allowed for this area is 3-8 units per acre for townhomes or condominiums, not apartments. To allow the proposed changes would be a violation of the Comprehensive Plan as well as go against the wishes of the surrounding community.

The massive surge in support proves that our community is fed up with the city ignoring its own zoning rules for the sake of developers. The Planning Commission can no longer pretend that this insane proposal for high-density apartments is hidden from public view.

The city needs to stop ignoring the comprehensive plan every time a developer shows up with a pile of money. Keep it townhomes.

We bought our homes here specifically because of the zoning laws. Changing it now is a total slap in the face to all the residents.

WAY too much density. Johns Creek is losing its character with all these apartment complexes going up everywhere.

Deny it. Just deny it. We dont need more retail space that will just sit empty anyway.

Enough with the apartments already. Our schools and roads can barely handle the traffic we have now. Do not let this happen.

105 units is way too many for this plot. Stick to the original plan that was agreed on. Nobody asked for more traffic.
