im still talking to the planning office about how we can make this work in the new safeway design. people keep telling me how much they need this space so im definitely not letting it go.

i honestly cant believe how fast this is moving now. it feels like everyone on the hill is finally starting to see the potential for this space.

It would be a nice place to stop and let my dogs have some social time. Also, it would add just a little more charm to our already charming upper Queen Anne neighborhood.
Desperately needed to grow our dog’s socialization skills and enrich the Queen Anne dog community.
Top of QA needs something. Wish they would just make the steep hill at Rogers Park an off leash area. All they need to do is put up a fence. And many dog owners already use as off leash area. Kids don’t play there b/c it’s a steep hill, not the right conditions for running. Wasted space
Would love having easier access to a dog park for our dog as she gets older. This would also allow great community interactions with neighbors.
I think a small off-leash area would really impact my choice to shop at Safeway over other stores!
Clearly needed, given then amount of dogs that gather on the playfield daily

Please consider an off-leash park for the redevelopment at 2100 Queen Anne Ave N. We are a neighborhood of dog-owners, as evidenced by the two pet stores on the Ave. Good for the dogs, good for the owners, good for business!
