We are hereby requesting your assistance in establishing an Off-Leash Dog Play Area within the AMLI North Point community.
Apartment buildings that offer a wider range of amenities are more sought after, have less vacancies and less resident turnover. In suburban areas, such as Alpharetta, where more individuals and families own a dog, an Off-Leash Dog Play Area is one of the most desirable amenities.
Top luxury apartment complexes in the area, and most new construction complexes offer such amenity (The Crossings at Holcomb Bridge, Avana North Point, The Atlantic Newtown Apartments, St. Andrews Apartment Homes, Collingwood, NorthHaven at Johns Creek, Andover at Johns Creek, Woodhaven at Park Bridge, Haven At Avalon, and more…). More so, dog owners who lease an apartment with no Off-Leash Dog Play often end up moving out and not renewing their lease due to an overenergetic dog.
Other clear benefits to adding an Off-Leash Dog Play Area to the AMLI North Point Property are:
- Better controlled pet-related nuisances such as noise, odor and scattered feces.
- Free, un-leashed exercise that makes for a calmer and better behaved dogs.
- Increase in neighbor’s interaction and social experiences.

Living here with a high energy lab is tough when it rains and we cant walk far. A fenced area would be so helpful for everyone.

I support this 100%! My dog always wants to run around (on leash and inside the apartment) but I can’t trust her off leash so having a fenced area in the community would make her and I so so happy.
