The city has officially confirmed the reopening of the Q House to serve our youth. We are moving into the transition phase now to ensure the facilities align with our proposed educational and vocational programming. I will post updates as we begin the oversight process for the building renovation.

Our short term plan is to utilize New Haven schools in the evening and on Saturdays to provide educational.recreational, & vocational services for our youth.
Our long term plan is to keep the Q House's historical value in the community, keeping the legacy alive! We need the Q House serving our community again...citywide!

The current level of public interest has prompted a direct request for a meeting from the local planning committee. I am now preparing a formal proposal to present our plan for utilizing school facilities for youth services.

Too many memories in that building to just let it sit there and rot. We need to look out for the kids in this neighborhood.
stop talking about it and just open it already. our kids have nowhere to go and it shows
THE Q HOUSE IS VITAL!!!! Open it up now before we lose another generation to the streets
It was the heart of the community when I was growing up. Sad to see it closed for so long.
The Q House is legendary. Kids need a safe spot to go instead of hanging on the corner all night. Open the doors back up.
