A signaled crosswalk is needed at Black Cat/Gondola for children attending Pleasant View Elementary from the Jump Creek and Oaks North subdivisions. Many children and parents would prefer for them to walk to school with it being so close to home. The fresh air and exercise offer great benefits. However, it is currently dangerous to cross Black Cat without a crosswalk. Please sign to let ACHD and WASD know that a signaled crosswalk is a necessity.

This road definitely needs a cross walk. My kids prefer walking, but it is too unsafe.
The existing condition is dangerous for adults let alone children. This is a critically needed improvement that should be undertaken immediately.
Please for student safety put in a signaled crosswalk on black cat road across from pleasant view elementary school.
This is an obvious need.
For the safety of the children please add a safe way for them to cross the street to their homes.

This is a very unsafe condition that needs addressed ASAP with increased construction traffic.
