It has come to the attention of some of our community members that the vehicles parked on the curb of the southbound lane of Kings Crossing can inhibit the visibility of the street traffic for anyone exiting our community. This is causing a public safety issue, not only for our residents, but all travelers on this roadway and any passing pedestrians, as well.

The City of Houston has been contacted about this issue and have provided some helpful suggestions. Our community may petition to have "No Parking" signs placed along that section of the roadway. We may also petition to have the same signs placed on the opposite side of street to prevent this from becoming an issue for the residents of The Enclave. But we must get signatures of support from our fellow community members to move this process forward.

If you agree that we as a community should come together to prevent a tragedy before it occurs, please sign this petition to have the signs placed on Kings Crossing Drive. The absence of those vehicles will greatly increase visibility for anyone exiting our community, for other drivers on that roadway and for pedestrians.

I have been hearing from so many of you about the near misses you have had while trying to pull out onto the road. It honestly blows me away that so many people feel this same anxiety and I am truly comforted to know I am not the only one paying attention to this.

Yesterday I drove through that area. Cars were parked all the way around the curve. With cats exiting Chick-Fil-A and one lane almost closed from parked cars, it felt like an accident waiting to happen.

I fully support NO PARKING SIGNS .The employees from Chick fillet all park on Kings Crossing Drive. My husband was almost hit last month from someone exiting Chick Fillet. who did not stop at the stop sign and could not see approaching traffic. That white convertible for sale has been parked continuously on Kings Crossing Dr. since March and was only moved once for 2 days.

It is a dangerous situation trying to pull out onto Kings Crossing Drive. Having no parking permitted on Kings Crossing Dr would alleviate the problem and I support the petition.

Now that school's out, you take your life in your hands when you drive on Kingwood Dr. We met a lady coming out of Chick Fil A head on. She was on wrong side of road and we had 2 Great Grandkids in our car.
