We are writing today to ask the City of Sheboygan Falls Park Board for assistance in creating a neighborhood park on City of Sheboygan Falls owned land, parcel #'s 59282902030, 59282916400. This property is located on the Sheboygan River and runs along Water Street/Cleveland Street in the City of Sheboygan Falls, WI.
These small parcels would be fabulous park land, having some of the best views of the waterfalls on the Sheboygan River. It would be a great walking destination for city residents, it would work as a great spot for a canoe/kayak launch and would instantly be one of the best sight seeing spots in Sheboygan County. This land is an important neighborhood asset and resource!
I would like to express my gratitude for your support of public lands. We know that with your support that this park would become a beautiful, clean, and green place for our community to treasure.

I have completed the formal request for an agenda item regarding these parcels at the next Park Board hearing. Our documentation package is currently under review by city planning staff to ensure all proposed site uses comply with riverfront zoning regulations.

The level of traction this petition has gained demonstrates clear public interest in the development of these parcels. This momentum allows me to proceed with formalizing our proposal for the upcoming meeting with the Park Board. I am currently finalizing the site utility analysis to attach to our presentation.

This would be awesome for the river access. Really tired of having to drive so far just to put my kayak in.
As an avid kayaker and conservationalist I greatly support the effort to create a park in this location.

live right down the street from there and it would be so nice to have a place to walk the dog by the falls. hope this actually happens!!
