The silence regarding the removal of the soldier statue remains difficult to interpret. Conversations with local history enthusiasts reinforce my belief that our town deserves a transparent explanation for this sudden disappearance.

This is a sacred statue. Leave it alone! Learn about history understand history., and learn from it to do better!!!
There are so many things in the past I would rather not had happen but in my world its call history. Learn from it. If u stick ur hand in the fire , it will burn u. You probably will not do it again. But if u do it again, ur probably a idiot.
I want us to keep are history.. All lives matter not just black ..
Somethings should be Left alone .

A more mature society would recognize that the past is always with you and must always be kept in mind. There’s a reason Christians in Rome didn’t topple all the pagan statues and buildings in the city, or raze the Colosseum.
