we absolutely love visiting this twon as tourists but have stopped in recent years due to the lack of walking and playground facilitates. the only public playground is on a busy road and the only park is based on private property of a hotel and not very welcoming.

Supporting my local community's position to protect our natural landcape, which is sustaining thriving marine and estuarine ecosystems. I'm taking a stand against venture capitalists plans which will degrade this stunning landscape and environment for short term profit and an elite few.

Please allow this area to become a public place. I have family in Kenmare and visit 4 or 5 times a year from England and I strongly believe that this area would be such an asset to Kenmare which is already such a beautiful place.

I lived in the Kenmare area for several years, and plan to move back at some point in time. These lands would be a fantastic amenity for not only the locals, but the tourists that Kenmare relies on for much of it's income.

Kenmare badly needs a safe place to walk, walking path along shore and along by Finnehy river would be a wonderful amenity. A spacious children's playground also needed , parking near town site for men's shed etc

I have great memories of playing in these fields as a child and there was always a right of way through the lands. I'd like to know who exactly put up the steel gates and who gave them permission to do so and why?? It is not right to deny the locals access to this beautiful part of Kenmare.
