Long time community member and employee at one of the school’s nearby. I have students who have to walk their younger siblings to and from school daily. My families are already anxious stepping foot outside. I’m all for rehabilitation but just not the location.

Appalling to situate this in such a fragile under served community AND so negatively impact our centre that's seeking to provide a safe haven for inner-city youth.

I’m concerned as just down the street from this consumption site is a 7 storey apartment complex with a daycare on the main floor. I though there were regulations that this kind of things cannot be close to child care facilities. Plus I know of another 4 storey building going up with a daycare on main floor also just around the corner from proposed sight.

Pampanga Restaurant is a milestone in our community. This is where we started our very beginning in Winnipeg. Week in and week out , it is the place where hundreds and hundreds of Filipinos get together. Please do not destroy One of the Philippine Community Loved Restaurant by continuing your plan. That will hurt us.

I am a nurse at HSC and the area is already disproportionately affected by crime, addiction, and homelessness. This consumption site creates even more of a danger for the area.

Location not ideal due to residents living nearby (the elderly, young families, children) will put their safety at high risk and exposures to transmission of infectious diseases, needle stick injuries, overdose incidents and violent encounters. These situations will lead to serious injuries and deaths.

Injection sites are not working don't add them to Winnipeg. Use the funds to help in other ways.

Treatment would be way better than injection site. There is an old military base that was gifted to indigenous peoples. This could be used to house their homeless, the displaced from northern Manitoba due to fires or treatment for the unfortunate peoples with addiction issues. Anything can be done with space ……..,,, Would be better than sitting there empty and ignored
