Injection sites are not working don't add them to Winnipeg. Use the funds to help in other ways.

Treatment would be way better than injection site. There is an old military base that was gifted to indigenous peoples. This could be used to house their homeless, the displaced from northern Manitoba due to fires or treatment for the unfortunate peoples with addiction issues. Anything can be done with space ……..,,, Would be better than sitting there empty and ignored

Totally opposed to any drug injection site - they only enable people with addictions, and create more addicts and deaths. This approach has failed, its time to stop.

I think it is unfair to the neighborhood to place the site in the proposed stie. I think it should be right on North Main where most of the problems occur.

How is it that MB politicians did not hear the news that cities in Canada that have tried this are now ending it? Why are they ending this policy? Because it does not work!!! Read the news boys. I hope Winnipeg and Manitoban voters are paying attention. Our current bodies in office seem to only want to do whatever they want to do no matter what happened to those that have gone before. Why not use the experience of those who have gone that route and denounced it as a failed experiment? What we need is free rehab for all that need it. Is that not considered healthcare? We have learned that addiction is a serious disease so treat it as such and open a hospital for them.

The fact you want to accommodate drug addicts to do their business on tax payers money and we the people that will have to deal with the repercussions is ludicrous!

This is shocking that the city is going to try And set up injection sites which simply don’t work. Perhaps you should also set up a bar providing free alcohol to all the addicts as well? Yah, that’s the way to stop alcoholics!!! Free booze any time of the night or day! Might as well add that to your idiotic way of dealing with drug addicts! What is wrong with the people who are making these ridiculous decisions? It has been proven that giving drug addicts EASY ACCESS TO ALL THE DRUGS AND NEEDLES THEY WANT just makes the situation so much worse! Get a Backbone and just say NO ! These sites are not the answer, and I have pity on the residents in the area who are trying so hard to get away from these people who are mentally ill and making the area a hell hole. Please stop the insanity!!

It is out of control. More cannabis shops, more drugs dealers, more help from the government more drug addiction, more 911 calls.

If you want to help, then put them into drug rehab . Don't give them a place to shoot up
