Seeing this kind of momentum brings tears to my eyes because it reminds me that people still care about the history etched into these classroom walls. This school is the heart of our town and I am overwhelmed that so many of you are fighting to keep our doors open for the next generation.

Seeing one hundred people recognize the value of this school really hits home for me. My own time here shaped who I am and I refuse to watch these doors close without a fight.

I am a student in fifth year, I am in the ASD unit which opened only a year before I started. This is ridiculous. We have the best engineered car in the Formula one competition this year and last year. I am also on the student council and we are not going down without a fight.
Keep this school open for or kids there is a need for two school as the other one is full and won't be room in it for all students and it's not fair on child to travel outside town to get an education.
A new principal with foresight,ambition and an interest in education is what is needed. Get this in place and numbers will increase. All other staff are doing a really good job, but without leadership and honesty no school will survive.
The closure of this school would be a real loss to the local community. Schools are the heartbeat of a close knit community. Every effort should be made to increase enrolment rather than closure.
My son attended Carlow and received a brilliant education and I attribute that to the small numbers in the class he is now in his second year of college in his first choice course and really working hard and enjoying it please don't write these kids off

I went to the tech like all my family and friends it is a great school and has to be saved its time for county councilors and politicans from local area to earn their salaries and roll up their sleeves and fight to keep tech open like the ordinary people are doing
