We, the undersigned owners of Fresco, wish to express our serious concern regarding the proposed utilization of funds originally contributed by Fresco owners for purposes beyond our cluster.
- Background of Contributions
When purchasing our properties from BUUIPL, we paid significant amounts under specific heads with the clear understanding that they would be used exclusively for Fresco-related purposes:- Maintenance Security Deposit
- Sinking Fund
- External Façade Repair
- Transfer of Funds
In 2019, BUUIPL transferred a total of INR 5 crores to the Association under different heads for different clusters. Of this, INR 1.93 crores pertained to Fresco under the above three heads, under decided accounts for Fresco. - Immediate Concern
We understand that the total amount of INR 5 crores was incorrectly consolidated into a single head by the BOM in 2019, even after they were allocated across individual phases and sub heads by BUUIPL. During the budget consultation with the Treasurer on October 11, 2025, we were informed of a proposal to use this amount for road repair work across the entire complex. - Our Position
While we appreciate the need for infrastructure maintenance, we strongly believe that Fresco-specific funds should not be diverted for complex-wide projects. Doing so disregards the purpose for which these funds were collected and violates the principle of fair and equitable use. These funds belong to Fresco owners and should be utilized exclusively for Fresco cluster maintenance and improvements. Infrastructure funds, if required should be raised as one time Capex pan Uniworld and not by using funds categorically earmarked for a particular phase or phases. - Previous Engagements
Fresco BOMs have raised this issue multiple times through written communication and meetings. It is imperative that the minutes of these meetings be released immediately for transparency. If the minutes require legal interpretation, the topic of utilisation of these funds should also come under the same legal interpretation and the idea of utilisation should not be presented in SGM till clarity is obtained and discussed with various phase stakeholders.
We hereby request the Association to:
- Reconsider the proposal immediately.
- Ensure that Fresco funds are preserved for their intended purpose.
- Release the minutes of previous meetings on this issue for transparency.

Fresco 5, Flat 104 I agree that Fresco-specific funds should not be diverted for complex-wide projects
As a Fresco owner, I strongly oppose the redirection of our designated funds for complex-wide projects. These funds (INR 1.93 crores) were collected specifically for Fresco maintenance and improvements. Using them for general infrastructure violates both the original purpose and principles of fair fund allocation. Each cluster should manage its earmarked resources independently. The Association must honor the intended purpose of these contributions and maintain financial transparency by releasing all meeting minutes related to this matter. I urge the BOM to reconsider this proposal immediately.
Generate more revenue and take action about defaulters and don't squeeze the owners who pay diligently
Fresco 1, #1503 Request Board to kindly consider our pleas, which are factually and legally correct and binding. These are monies lying with the Board for 6+ years and the said Principal and Interest meds to be now returned to their legitimate owners. Using our money to maintain other places is not just ethical and immoral, but also illegal. Kindly comply
