The scale of this response is compelling evidence that the town is ready for direct intervention. I am now finalizing the briefing document to ensure this specific level of interest is highlighted during my meeting with the council representatives.

Fingers crossed for Hemel. Could be great for the local economy.
get this done! hemel needs a proper kickstart or there wont be any shops left in 2 years time
Mary Portas knows her stuff. She could really help our local traders stop the rot.
The high street is just charity shops and empty units now. It is depressing to walk through.

Hemel town centre is looking so tired lately. Really hope we get the funding to fix it up, it used to be a nice place to shop.
