At the November 17th 2015 working meeting, the Mayor and Board of Trustees discussed disallowing the Poquott Civic Association use of Village Hall. A resolution will be prepared for the upcoming December meeting.
I hereby support and ask Mayor Dolores (Dee) Parrish, and Board of Trustees, Harry Berry, Sandra Nicoletti, Jeff Koppelson and John Pesek to continue to allow the Poquott Civic Association use of Village hall for their regularly scheduled monthly meetings to be held the third Thursday of each month.

I firmly support the Civic Association being allowed to meet at Village Hall. A civic association is an important part of any community. They are not just a social committee planning parties, they help to keep residents informed about what is going on in the village and help promote resident participation.
there cannot be a restriction on use of the PUBLIC Village Hall based on disagreements of views
This Admin. is eliminating resident participation: by closing/cancelling meetings; changing dates/venues; all Comments at the end;Civics out. Take back our Village!
The Civic Association is important for the village. It has always had access to the village hall. Political disagreements on some issues should not be used to ban the association from meeting in the village hall.
Can't believe this. Where should the Civics Assoc meet? They play an integral part in this Village, always have!
Its called the Poquott Civic Assn. they should be able to meet in the Poquott Village Hall.
It's important to continue Poquott Civic meetings at the Village Hall

Our Civic Association is the essence of democratic participation in civic life. We should be proud to have them and to include them in Village Hall activities.
