We the undersigned believe the grassed area in between Gillman & Cheverell House and Beechwood House should be unlocked to allow our children and community to use it recreationally. At present this wonderful space is kept locked and as a result is unused and unloved.
Recreational space in London is at a premium and quality is eroded from our lives as we seek a place to unwind, yet here we have a green space on our doorsteps which as residents we are entitled to use but it is locked for no good reason.
We are all aware of how important for the health of people and communities green space is so it is criminal to not allow the considerate use of this area.
Opening the area would connect two estates promoting community spirit and allow for children from the estates to meet without having to leave the confines of the estate.
Please take a minute to sign this and allow a dialogue to open up the result of which will be considerate access to a ready-made resource that will enrich the lives of everyone involved.
Many thanks.
About time. That grass is just gathering weeds when it could be a place for us to actually sit outside. Open it up already.

its ridiculous that this space is just sitting there doing nothing while our kids are stuck inside. we pay enough rent here to at least be able to use the garden!
