Many loyal Toyota Tacoma owners for years have lamented the fact that Toyota does not offer the double cab long bed configuration with a manual transmission. We think that there is pent-up demand and they would sell very well. Many truck owners prefer the manual transmission but do not want ot compromise with getting a shorter bed. Offer it up, Toyota! Please sign if you agree!
I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you feel exactly the same way about this truck configuration. It turns out I am not the only one who refuses to compromise on the bed length or the transmission. Your comments about why this matters are giving me a better sense of how to present our case to the people at Toyota who actually make these decisions.

Seeing this grow is truly humbling because I started this just hoping for a few others who felt the same way. The momentum building behind this request is entirely because of you and your passion for this truck.

I had a 2007 Tacoma access cab with a manual I sold it wiith 204,000 miles on it because I wanted a double cab Tacoma manual to carry 2 car seats for my kids. I bought a 2016 Tacoma Sport Double Cab with a manual I would have loved the option of a long Bed Double cab manual.

Would have greatly preferred this as an option. From an engineering perspective, there really isn’t any reason this shouldn’t be a factory option.

I ordered a DCSB but would have preferred a DCLB. I am a homeowner remodeling a house and want to be able to easily transport drywall, pipe, etc. without a trailer.

Please make the DCLB MANUAL!! There are some people (like me) who have friends, carry motorcycles and like to use the clutch.

I would purchase this in a second. I have driven manual transmissions since my first Toyota pickup in 91. I even sought out and found one of the last 4Runner's in a manual. I now have an automatic DCLB because there is no manual option.

The only reason I purchased a Toyota Tacoma is for the Manual Transmission option & long bed. I trade in every 2 years & it is no longer an option.Toyota is no longer an option for me.

Will buy a new one with cash right now if they offered it! Until then, I'll keep rocking my 80s vehicles

Note: With a manual. The manual transmission is a BIG reason why I chose the Tacoma!
