We, adjacent property owners and area residents petition to keep plat restriction for Ball Homes Development in Brannon Crossing off Grey Oak Rd AS IS on original recorded document (D551 Pg 228). We do not support 25% brick exception Ball Homes is proposing and voicing our concern via this signed petition.

Updates

July 30, 2016

The emails I receive from neighbors show how much this land matters to us all. I have been spending my nights reviewing the zoning documents to ensure our original agreements hold firm. This fight is draining but I am not walking away from our neighborhood.

Seeing the count climb this high feels like a heavy weight lifting off my shoulders. I am exhausted from the constant meetings but seeing this level of support keeps me moving forward.

No developer should be allowed to make a change to a plat restriction after it has been approved. If this proposal had been in the orignal proposal, there is a strong likelihood this builder would not have been given the award.

I have never seen a Ball Home that is built to the standards of pur community. They are never all brick. They cram them in so close that you can shake hands withe their neighbor through a window. The quality just isn't there and it would drop our condo values.

I am on a fixed income and have worked for a long time to purchase my home. I moved here from Fayette Co. because the property standards were in place for this part of our community. PLEASE leave the restriction as is ( for all of us who took this very seriously when we decided to build in Jessamine Co.)!!!!

As a licensed Realtor in the State of Kentucky, I support this petition with the knowledge that the 25% brick exception proposal will lower the value of properties adjacent to and surrounding the Ball Home subdivision.

If Ball homes want to develop houses on land that requires 75% brick, then they should be required to build 75% brick homes. They have plenty of other developments they can build 25% brick homes on.

Keep play restriction for Ball homes development in Brannon Crossing. I've worked hard all my life and built my dream home in Brannon Gardens. I don't want my investment in my home to be adversely affected by allowing Ball Homes to build inferior homes in my neighborhood using cheaper materials. I don't think anyone on the Council would want their properties devalued either. Thank you.

We wish we could be there but we are not physically able. We totally support this!

Please leave the neighborhood 75% brick and the lot sizes the way the plat says.
