As a proud Pit Bull owner I would like to stand up for their rights. This came after the recent reports on social media that certain Foudations are trying to get Pit Bulls banned from SA. We need to remember that Pit Bulls are individuals, and not all are the same. Due to lack of knowledge and false information spread by individuals and campaigns, our Pit Bulls are now threatened, and it is up to us to save them. Help us to speak for them as they can not speak for themselves!

The feedback I receive lately is heavy and full of fear for our dogs. I am exhausted by the constant misinformation we have to fight back against but I refuse to quit now. We are still here working behind the scenes to challenge these bans.

Reaching this point is exhausting and yet it settles something in my chest. Seeing this movement grow proves I am not the only one fighting this battle against the misinformation circulating.

some of us don't abuse our pit bulls andbthey not violent to people. We still need them. Those thatbabuse dogs or those that make themnfight to be arrested not burn our dogs.
Not every bully is a pitbull. People shouting 'ban pitbulls' will point at an American Bully and call it a pitbull. Everyone should be entitled to his opinions but ignorance should not be tolerated. The media is also guilty of this because they are hyping it up. It was the Rottweilers not so long ago, now they have shifted to the pitbull. What is next? Boerboels?
Pitbulls are my security and a part of the family, I live on a farm and don’t own a gun. They are my safety
Breeds bans do not work.The backyard breeders and puppyills selling pups with bad genetics and humans lack of socialization is the real problem.
There is difference between proper bred APBTs and these mutts that attack people. Learn the difference.
I am so sorry for what people do to pits they are so lovable I had to grown pits the mother had nine puppies one pass at birth I have 7 now they r almost there months old they r so lovable I am one person I am trying to find good homes for them I need help
