As of today dogs and cats are not allowed in Country Squire, the Amendment to the Bylaw regarding ownership of pets in Country Squire states: “The Board of Directors shall not approve any requests by unit owners to keep or maintain dogs and/or cats at the complex after June 14, 1993 unless such pet is required by law.” This Bylaw came into effect in 1994, it is now 2012 and we need change to accommodate pet lovers in Country Squire! I have contacted Evergreen Management and they have informed me that in order to change this Bylaw, we need to have a petition signed by 1/3 of Country Squire owners. If we are able to do this, they will hold a special vote in which we will need 2/3 of Country Squire Owners to vote in favor of changing the bylaw.
