It is our concern that the living conditions under which these settlers are living is inhumane especially for women and children.
Herewith take note the residence of Eldorado Park would like to bring to your attention the growing influx and extension of the informal settlement living on the waste dump off Golden Highway on Union Road. The high crime rate and unmonitored settlement is of great concern which poses a direct threat to our community.A few treatable incidences have already occurred within our community as a result of this so-called informal settlement.

Lapland land is a huge (social and health) risk and the occupation of the area by people (Foreign or Not) must be stopped. Many accidents are caused by the trolley pushers on Union Road. Stolen property is sold for drugs, alcohol and prostitution is rife. A police satellite station must be put up at the entrance on Union Road. Relocation is the only option for these people.
These guys throw sharp things on the road at night to course tyre bursts. Once the car comes to a stand still, they than rob the people in the car and strip the car.
We are tired of this!!
