Petition by the Concerned Residents of (and visitors to) Bert Whiteley Place (and surrounding streets)
During the time that these tenants have been residing at the property (approximately 2 and a half years), they have displayed ongoing, continual antisocial behaviour (swearing, excessive drinking, physical and verbal abuse).
There are also continually unsupervised children who swear at residents who try to reprimand them for trespassing and disrupting traffic in the street. There have been various incidents of stealing by the children.
These problems have now escalated and some residents have had physical harm threatened with the use of a weapon.
We the residents need to restore our street to the peaceful street that it was before these tenants arrived, to ensure our safety and the safety of the our children who reside with us here.

We are Bert Whiteley Residents and have had to make several complaints over the last 2 or so years. We have been verbally abused, we have had rocks thrown at our cars and kids throwing rocks at our house. On a regular occurrence we have had to put up with yelling, screaming and swearing in the streets to bottles of glass being smashed in the street. Children are never supervised whilst playing on the corner of the street. We do not feel secure in our once quiet and peaceful street.
after my husband being threatened to be stabbed and our house burnt to the ground with him in it, I do not feel safe and can see why the street neighbours are all slowly putting their houses up for sale
They are bringing in 10 -15 different cars daily visiting house for a short time some have been seen to be drunk
I have seen young children unsupervised on the road andin danger of harm.. I am also aware of the distress caused by some of the behavior of the adults.lta
We all should feel safe in our own homes. We also should be able to drive up a public road without fear of having things tossed at our vechicles
complete disregard for their neighbors. Many times I have seen children as young as two wandering around unsupervised, adults swearing at children, rocks thrown at my car and have no incentive to live like civilized residents. The house is completely destroyed. It's just a shame and a waste of government resources and a real kick in the guts to people that have worked hard to pay to live in nice homes in a good street.
People should have to live in fear in their own home! These type of residents should be evicted if they choose to be abusiveto innocent people

Have been in the street while these tenants kids have been sitting on the roof of their garage, running around out the front throwing rocks & running on the road. It is to the point where residents have to specify to taxi drivers that they are not living at number 6 to get a taxi to their house to pick them up, or have to give a fake address when getting in a taxi to go home.
We are Bert Whiteley Residents and have had to make several complaints over the last 2 or so years.
