Petition Summary: This petition is to demonstrate citizen support for a pathway from Tonawanda School to North Avenue, along the west side of Hollyhock Lane in the Village of Elm Grove.
Action Petitioned For: We, the undersigned, are citizens of Elm Grove who are in favor of a Pathway along Hollyhock Lane from Tonawanda to North Avenue, to allow for safe access to Tonawanda School, Elm Grove Park, and the Elm Grove Village. We urge the Village Board to take steps to implement this pathway as quickly as possible.
I have discussed this with a number of families in the village and at Tonawanda, who are supportive of a safe pedestrian and bike access to Elm Grove Park and Tonawanda School from the northern part of the village. We believe it is important to allow safe pedestrian access to the Park and the Village for all residents, especially our children.

1610 Legion Dr Safe paths are a great community benefit and attract young families to locate here.
I would fully support this project. I walk two young grandchildren to the park and school.
Children can not currently safely walk to the park path or Tonawanda along Hollyhock.
We need a safe place for kids to ride bikes and walk with their friends in that area.
My husband & I have often discussed how much we would love to have more safe walking/biking routes in the village. This is exactly the route we use several times daily walking our dogs & strolling to Sendiks.

As a homeowner on Hollyhock Lane between Wrayburn and Noth Avenue I fully understand the impact of this proposal on our community and homeowners. For the safety of children and families in this community this proposal has my full support. Hollyhock is very dangerous to walk during peak commuting hours.
