Why We Want to Overturn the Ace Towing Decision:
- There are already three "No Parking" signs in the motor court — additional enforcement is unnecessary.
- Only one individual had issues with illegal parking; it could have been handled directly.
- In 4+ years living here, I have rarely seen anyone park illegally; the motor courts are large enough to drive around parked cars.
- California law allows residents to park in front of their driveways for up to one hour — enforcement by Ace may not fairly account for this.
- No fire hydrants exist in the motor courts — emergency access was not at risk.
- The board acted without community input on a non-issue, overreaching their authority.
- Ace Towing has a known reputation for predatory practices and an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.
- Lack of transparency around Ace’s authorization — unclear if it's broad or specific.
- Hiring Ace increases the risk of crime and predatory behavior, not decreases it.

The board clearly underestimated how fed up we are with their predatory contract with Ace Towing. We have hit a powerful point of momentum that makes it impossible for them to pretend this is just a quiet issue anymore.

I have lived here 5 years and haven't had an issue. With anyone parked in the motor courts.
Remove Ace towing and all signs from our neighborhood. This is not what WillowGlen is about. We are a community that respects and helps eachother.
Title: Tow Tales from the Wrong Side of the Fence You know you’re living in peak civilization when a tow truck shows up on your private property — uninvited — like it’s a damn surprise party. Only instead of balloons and cake, they brought chains, flashing lights, and a strong whiff of “we-don’t-need-permission” energy. Picture this: I’m sipping my coffee, minding my own glorious business, when in rolls Tacky Tow Bros, Inc. — dragging rust, bad tattoos, and a loose interpretation of the law. They start bolting “No Parking” signs into my soil like colonial invaders planting a flag. Who authorized this? Oh right — apparently just the voices in their heads.
Ace towing is an unscrupulous company that we unfortunately would not want in our neighborhood.
A majority of the community agrees that the signs do not benefit the homeowners of this community.
Because they are predators who stole my car that was LEGALLY in my own private spot and refuse to call me back, in order to spike fees
It needs to be removed.

These signs look like they’re for a commercial property not a private residential area. Awful
