We, the residents and homeowners of RiverLights, oppose the proposed location of the Middleburg Apartment Community at 4410 River Road in Wilmington, NC. We request that the apartment community be built further down River Road, near the intersection with Lorraine Drive, where homes have yet to be built, or further north on River Road as part of Marina Village.

The developers at Middleburg clearly underestimated how much fight our neighborhood has left in us. We have built undeniable momentum and they can no longer pretend we are just going to roll over while they ruin our community.

Look at the infrastructure first. River road is not ready for this.
Ridiculous idea. My kids play near this street constantly. Why would they put a huge apartment block right in the middle of family homes??
STOP BUILDING STUFF WE DONT HAVE THE ROADS FOR
Keep the density away from our quiet residential area. There is plenty of space near Marina Village where this belongs.
I moved here for the neighborhood feel. If they build this right at 4410 it ruins the whole vibe of riverlights. Move it further down.

The traffic down here is already a nightmare. We dont need another massive complex dumping cars onto this road at peak hours.
Look at the infrastructure first. River road is not ready for this.
