The deadline for dissertations for people taking the final year of their LLB is the 23rd of March. We, the undersigned, believe that the early date for the deadline is grossly unfair as students who opted for the dissertation have fewer exams for which to revise thereby invalidating the reason given for the early deadline, that reason being allowing for more revision time for exams. Furthermore, considering that the dissertation is worth one third of the final grade we believe that the deadline should be returned to the date of the previous year, of April, in order to allow students to achieve the best possible grade for their dissertation.
