The IDS class representatives have been contacted by students who are concerned about the amount of work due on 26th May.
An extension until 2nd June for either: 1) the dissertation outline or 2) the term papers, would allow the students to spend enough time to produce better quality term-papers and the outline .
The MA Global Studies students are given a one-week extension for their dissertation outline submission. With enough signatures for this petition from the MA's in IDS, we can present this petition to management to seek the possibility of extending the deadline similarly.

thnx for starting this. its been a chaotic month for everyone in this course.
Need extra time for the outline because of all the other module deadlines colliding.
PLEASE extend this. i have 3 papers due and im drowning right now.
Everything is due on the exact same day, it is impossible to get it all done to a decent standard.
Thanks for taking up this issue. Given the amount of assessments in the 2nd block of term 2 these days leading to submission have been tough. if successful this could help students submit quality work and release stress too.
