Lake Macquarie City Council prides itself on our one great asset – Lake Macquarie, yet the people of Wangi are denied the pleasure of walking along the foreshore because of the dangerous track that exists west of the scout hall This petition is not asking for a concrete path just a graded gravel path with an even grade that is wide enough for people to walk safely.
We the undersigned earnestly request LMCC to correct this situation and construct a safe path for pedestrian

Seeing this kind of movement is honestly spinning my head a bit because I really just thought it would be me and my neighbors shouting into the void. It feels like the council might actually have to acknowledge that we just want to walk safely by the water without tripping over roots or sliding down that dirt track.

We walk this way constantly and it is such a shame how messy the track is right now. Just need some gravel it would make a world of difference for the families around here.
A path from the new jetty to the caravan park and back to dobell park would be a huge benefit to Wangi residents
Walking path would be safe for all

Bout time someone did something about this spot! Its dangerous for the kids right now.
