The management of Broadside Tavern (the pre-existing Barney Fanning’s) at 99 Broad Street is asking for a 2016 Live Entertainment License. This would allow live entertainment to operate at our establishment until 2 am.
Frank Delaney has now taken over ownership of Barney Fanning’s which will soon be named Broadside. Frank has brought many of his former staff members who have worked on Broad Street under his management upward of 15 years.
Live Entertainment has been a staple in Frank’s Broad Street establishment during his tenure. This includes entertainment provided by DJ Johnny Andrade and Irish Sessions led by Michael Reynolds which have both been anticipated by our devoted clientele. Granting this license will bring additional foot traffic to Broad Street therefore increasing revenue to the area. It will allow us to continue the traditions that have been preceded at our last restaurant

Been djing 17+ years 10 of with the times and i must say one of the best places I have ever worked. Great seen for tourists,locals and industry people. .. doesn't matter how young or old ( of course 21+) if you walked into the times it felt like your walking into a place you have been going to for years. The amount of people I was lucky to have talk over the years all had the same opinion. what a friendly place. so glad we found you. You guys made my night .A Saying I hear all the time " you never have a bad time at the times " ... this was why i became a dj . Was to make people happy. I'm glad I had that opportunity at the times. To the friends and family that have made over the years . just want to say thank you guys for your support. Hope to see you soon.
Live entertainment at Broadside would improve this establishment as well as the whole neighborhood
We need to preserve our city. The nightlife of Broad Street (and Boston as a whole) is slowly dying due to million dollar condo deals and gentrification. We need preservation for the locals and for future locals. We need our culture to flourish and by allowing Frank Delaney to have his entertainment license, it will be a victory for the people of Boston and it's amazing culture.
It's literally across the street from the old location, it's not going to change anything for the tenants at all. There were no issues at the Times or the Littlest.
This is a no-brainer. These seasoned, industry professionals will keep responsible custody of this privilege.

I am in full support for broadside management. Great respectable people who bring something to the community. Known them for 6+ years and everyone I know loves them.
