We the undersigned are concerned citizens, who demand the
city planning commission and city council members of Woodbury Minnesota, deny
the re-zoning of the vacant lot in the southwest corner of Settlers Ridge
Parkway and Lake Drive. We oppose any and all attempts to re-zone this parcel from
commercial to residential so that Lennar Minnesota can build high density
townhomes.
The city is finally taking notice of our opposition. This momentum proves that Woodbury residents refuse to stay silent on the Settlers Ridge development.

I understand commercial may not work, but high density townhomes is only a win for Lenar. I am pretty sure Lenar does not live in this neighborhood. I hope the zoning commission listens to the voice of its residents instead of that of a business who has no long term interest in the community.

There are so many town homes concentrated in this area already...between Baily's arbor, more on Lake (kings field), the mattamy ones and now the newest set going up on the end of my street...traffic/school congestion in this area is already enough for a family centered neighborhood

Please deny rezoning to protect Stonemill Farm for paying for maintenance, green space and private parks from other associations and residents that will not be contributing to their upkeep.

We bought a home in Stonemill Farms with the understanding that this area was zoned commercial. We would not have bought our home knowing there would be town homes in both vacant areas. This also adds to continuing overpopulation of Liberty Ridge. Please do not re-zone.

This area absolutely should remain commercial. A coffee/bagel shop, an ice cream store, a small park/garden--things that would enhance the quality of life for the residents living there. That area is already very dense with housing. Nearest amenities are not bike able for kids. We want to be able to walk there.

Do not rezone to allow more townhomes in this area! The area was identified as commercial use when we made our decision to purchase our home; having that large an area stuffed with more tall, closely spaced residential buildings will devalue the investment we have made. Commercial or park space would protect our property values.

We would like to see a neighbor market/grocery that we have been promised. Would be so nice to have some centralized services in place of more housing.
