The Travelers Inn will be permanently closed following the recent ruling. I am deeply grateful for the 414 people who joined me in demanding this necessary change for our neighborhood. We will continue to monitor the site until the structure is fully removed.

Crime rate at Travlers Inn has increased dramatically . My sister was shot on December 11th, 2020 Help my mother and I get whatever we can done to get it closed or tore down! At this point anything is better than nothing.

Topeka needs to remove that sore eye aka “ prostitution, drug filled, bedbug, murder /suicide institution right off the 470 for the world to see. It needs bulldozing
I can’t believe this place hasn’t already been tore down. For real it should be not only for our sister but for the sole purpose that if most people won’t go near travelers and you wouldn’t or wouldn’t want your kids to go there then get rid of it for the safety of our future to remain possible.
Recently stayed there on that date.. Place is roach infested and meant to keep those there down. Troubled long term tenants, drugs and violence. Stayed a week there and the only day that was peaceful was the day after this shooting.
This place is an eye sore and houses nothing but drug addicted felons and trash. We need something done immediately. So much property values lost over this disgusting place.
I moved however I am still on Topeka police scanner. It seems police or paramedics are there at least twice a week. That screams all kinds of illegal activity bc those 2 or so a week are just the ones being called in.

The city of Topeka needs to tear down this place and other locations that attract crime/murders.. Drugs are a big factor in this motel. It looks bad for the city.
