Respectfully requests:
That the House pass legislation to ensure all current and potential Work and Income clients are explicitly informed of their entitlements and review rights and current clients are notified of any subsequent policy changes.

Please treat us with more dignity. We've had hardship and misfortune and to not treat us with dignity and respect is cruel. To not be honest with us about our entitlements is wrong. So many rules need to be reviewed and changed!
Would be nice for better client service. Not having to wait in line for 30 minutes which makes u 20 mins late for your app and nobody calls you. And having a disability with pain and can't stand longer than 5 mins
its shouldnt be our job to find out what we are entitled/eligible for it should absolutely be apart of the job role - thats commomn sense!
in my experience with this department I have not ever been offered information about what my entitlements are until I have actually asked and then getting the response has always been given with an nu-spoken remark that implied that I should have known this, it's not that difficult!!!!!...too many issues of been uninformed..........no clarity etc.
I agree! I was told several years ago I waa not entitled to unsupported child allowance only to find in a recent application I am. I have looked after my granddaughter for 8 years. Feel sick it had caused me much hardship.
Living alone allowance is not livable bring back Widows
Make all winz workers have at least a 3 year degree n social work to make better decisions for families seeking help.

Treat clients as people in need, not 'the enemy'. Lay out the rules, look at the circumstances so reality works, not regimentation, and introduce a clear set of conditions and consequences. It's not rocket science!
