PKC Taxis - say NO! to derugulation Perth & Kinross Council have announced plans to deregulate the Taxi Industry in this area. I have been an owner/driver for 23 years and have been working 70 or 80 hours per week to make a living wage. If the deregulation goes ahead, I will no longer be able to earn a living wage.
The council thinks this deregulation plan will fix the industry but they are not listening to the drivers who keep the streets moving. Go to the council website and email your local representative to demand they protect our livelihoods. We need to keep the pressure on until they scrap this proposal for good.

Deregulating is just a recipe for chaos. Keep things as they are. This is people's livelihoods we are talking about.

THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING. 80 hours a week is not enough? Leave it be!

Ridiculous decision. Leave the taxi trade alone the drivers work hard enough as it is without the council making things impossible.
