Board to ask that school not start prior to August each year. There are many and various reasons for this but just a few: align with other districts in the area, ensure summer break happens during actual summer, provide better alignment to other states and districts to provide more family time.

My opinion is school should Start in September! Save money on air conditioning costs by starting later!

July is for swimming not sitting at a desk. My kids are miserable being stuck inside while it is still 90 degrees out.
