im hearing from so many of you that losing those final weeks of summer would be a huge blow to family time. im putting together all your feedback to show the administration exactly why this shift is such a bad move for us.

im honestly blown away by how many people are jumping on board with this. it feels like everyone is finally realizing we really need to protect our summer break. thanks for getting behind this so fast.

August is for swimming and family time. Please dont take our last few weeks of summer away. Ridiculous.
Seriously? We already have plans for those weeks. This is going to ruin everything for us.
The kids deserve to be kids. Shortening summer just to match the public schools makes no sense at all.
KEEP THE CURRENT CALENDAR. August 2nd is way too early
My kids need a break. They work so hard all year and that time off in august is the only chance we get to travel as a family before getting back to the grind.

Dont follow the county. Be different and give the students what they need. A full summer.
