They use more energy per dollar to generate electricity that other forms of energy. If the government wasn't subsidizing them so heavily, there would be no wind/solar farms in this windy and sunny state. They are inefficient and costly. 4-5 times the cost of natural gas if you pull out all the government pork. I would say, no.
Windmills are dangers to the environment. They are also ugly, leak oil, are targets for lighting and we in rice county will not get a break on the taxes in the event we elect to put one on our property. The fine print states " as the land owner that the windmill is placed on, i as the land owner are also owner of the windmill and am responsible for taxes on the structure even after being decompressiond". I will not be responsible for the green new scam or responsible for paying the government's bill.
I live in the portion of the county that they want to erect those monstrosities! Please protect our lovely county! We moved to the country to have peace and quiet and enjoy country life. We would like it to stay that way!
Due to the overwhelming evidence proving windmills are a complete sham. $700,000 in subsidies per windmill and complete destruction of farmland that we desperately need to take care of.

We don’t want them here. Our community values the beautiful nature that surrounds us, and the last thing we need is to disturb the wildlife around here. Bye Felicia!!!

As a scientist, I have studied the short and long-term costs of wind turbines, and they just don't make sense - not fiscally, culturally, or environmentally. We must take into account the entire life cycle of these machines, the impacts to our health, and who will be responsible for decommissioning costs.
