They make sure you have fantastic service for those 30 days you can end your contract without extra fees then on day 31 the service goes to shit!!! They are absolutely scamming customers from day 1. Hughesnet should wise up and start treating customers fair OR keep operating like they have been and eventually they won't be in business!

We have had Hughes Net for 2 months and it's the worst service I have ever seen! We can't even watch Netflix or Hulu without constant buffering. I wish we had done our homework before signing their contract, but new to the area and our mistake. Now we're screwed and stuck in a 2 year contract or pay $400. to get out of it. But be warned I will post all over FB and warn future custumers not to even think of going to Hughes Net!!

HUGHES NET IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! Their CUSTOMER SERVICE is equally as bad as their service. We have been with Hughes net since June and have had nothing but issues with them. We have had service techs to our house multiple times and nothing changes. They come out, tell you they don’t see any issues and guess what? The internet speed is still super slow. We can’t do anything with our internet! There is no point to having internet at all because it’s a waste with them . Today I call to cancel after being super upset over our internet after calling every other month due to the fact of how unhappy I am... you would think that Hughes net would just cover the early termination fee because they never provided anything that they promised , but what a shocker I still had to pay! All they care about is getting their money! I would never recommend this company to anyone! They cause nothing but problems and inconvenience with your schedule and life! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HughesNet

This is worse satellite internet that has ever been, out of data within 3 days, I recommend do not ever get HughesNet, worst customer service that has ever been, they will not even listen to you, y’all are a joke for a internet provider, if you check Facebook & Twitter you would see that there is never a good comment.

HughesNet is not a service at all it is a big scam bait and switch the data runs out within 2-3 days for 30 and up five days if you have 50 data picture quality is very bad and a nightmare to deal with because of their deceptive practices and service
Hughesnet is a fn joke
Some of the worst people i have ever done business with.
I payed 400 for my service with them to only end up getting a refund 20 minutes after it was installed because it was already not working. Even though i called then and there they only offered me a 250 dollar refund. They're clearly just a company trying to rip off old people.

Same week we got HughesNet we had to call customer service because the service was so bad we had to use hotspot. HughesNet did something and service was better an data use was still full at end of month .the next month all data was gone in less then 2 days and next month the same . Still using hotspot Mutch better an cheaper then HughesNet . Mainly needed HughesNet for kids online learning but it’s always freezing an loosing service and you can’t even watch a standard definition movie. I do not even have it hooked up no more but I still have to pay monthly because can’t afford cancelation fee even though I bought the equipment I’ll be out over a thousand dollars for nothing but aggravation.
