Are you tired of unreliable, slow "high speed" and or "Ultra high speed" from Bell Aliant in the Spanish Ship Bay & Liscomb area? Let's get as many customers as possible in this area (or anywhere in Guysborough County to show your support) to sign this petition to let Bell Aliant know we are tired of being taken advantage of. Most of us in this area pay $70 to $90 per month for internet services from Bell Aliant depending on package and or option selected (high speed or ultra high speed) . The Ultra High Speed is rated up to 7mbps download and 0.5mbps upload. I have attached a picture of our speed this week. Everytime it rains. We lose our internet. Meanwhile. A neighbors may be fine. And a few houses up or down the road from us. Also lose theirs. Or. It slows significantly. To well below advertised speeds. We usually lose ours a few times per day, everyday. Usually once in the afternoon and once in the evening or nighttime. Regardless of weather. Unreliable. Unpredictable. And terrible customer service. We called and complained several times. This was tested. That was replaced. This was switched. Etc. Etc. Etc. They cannot find the issue. So. The problems remains. And Bell Aliant threatened to start charging us from now on when we call to complain our internet is down and they send out a tech and cannot find the problem. What kind of customer service is that? We pay for a service. We do not receive the service we pay for. We complain. They want us to pay for the service call. Really? Let's stand together and demand a better service from these crooks. This has been going on for us for several years now. And it still hasn't been fixed. Folks in more urban or populated areas pay less than what we pay. And receive a reliable fast service. 160mbps download. 20mbps upload or higher. I don't expect those speeds in rural areas. But I do expect to get close to the speeds we are paying for. And reliability. Absolutely Rediculous. Shame on you Bell Aliant.

The sheer number of people backing this fight proves that Bell Aliant has been treating us like garbage for long enough. They think they can squeeze us for bills while delivering nothing but outages and empty threats. We are done playing by their rules.

I am not getting the high speed that I am paying almost $100.00 a month for. Also we loose the Internet numerous times a day for no reason and rainy days you are lucky to get it at all. It is just not right they should be paying us to even have it.

Everytime I've called and stated my case I clearly 'had them' but they still managed to lie their way out of the conversations and put the blame on the customer. I cancelled home phone.. And if this isn't fixed.. I'll cancel internet next!!!

Our wifi don't even work half the time, you shouldn't have to pay that much money for wifi when it doesn't even work.

Our lousy internet service, slow, frustrating, has to be reset daily; is there really any need of this?? Guess Bell Aliant know we don't have a lot of choices here.

The price is too high for the poor service we get.
