Dengan ini, saya menulis nama untuk menuntut pihak Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) agar menggugurkan segala tuduhan yang telah dibuat terhadap pelajar Universiti Malaya yang terlibat dalam program “40 Tahun: Dari UM Ke Penjara”. Tindakan pihak HEP yang tidak sehaluan dengan nilai teras UM terutamanya kebebasan akademik adalah amat mengecewakan.

I am honestly stunned to see that five hundred people have added their names to this cause. This momentum has entirely passed my expectations and it is clear that this support belongs to all of you who refuse to stay silent.

I am truly overwhelmed by the turnout so far but the momentum really belongs to you. If we can reach five hundred signatures before this catches the eyes of the administration then we might actually get someone to listen.

By every means they did not sell the country, this just a small puzzle growing towards a better country, these charges clearly showcase the authorities' power but in a long run that's going to turn sour.
Universities are suppose to let the students be free to voice their opinions! It is unfair to charge him and I don't see anything wrong with inviting a politician to give a talk. If he had invited Najib will he be given this treatment? NO! Stop being a hypocrite and start listening to our voices!
Been through this once, I know what is like to have academic freedom being robbed. My pure support to you guys, to the HEP, FREE THE STUDENTS! Where are our rights as students?
The students have the rights to express their voice. Political suppression should not be allowed in a university deemed to be politically free. Give the students their rights, treat them as adults and let them go. Jiayou UM!
Saya menyeru pihak Universiti Malaya membatalkan segala tuduhan terhadap mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam "Pidato Umum Anwar Ibrahim 40 Tahun, dari UM ke Penjara". Tuduhan HEP dianggap sebagai tidak relevan, dan mencabuli kebebasan akademik, kebebasan bersuara serta demokrasi kampus!

we are just fighting for our right , we have the right to voice out and we are in a democratic country and not Syria,. support UM8!!!!!!! be strong (y) lawan tetap lawan
