Be Strong

Gugurkan tuduhan ke atas pelajar UM! Hanya mengadakan seminar utk bekas pelajar UM memberi ucapan, ini pun kena tuduh? Adakah xx masih faham apa maksudnya RASIONAL? KEADILAN? Universiti adalah tempat yang bebas utk pelajar megadakan aktiviti jikalau aktiviti itu bukan apa-apa yg akan membangkitkan isu kekecohan trhdp perpaduan kaum dll . Universiti spatutnya macam “pengadil”, iaitu ADIL terhadap semua peserta, tak kiralah ia dari pihak kerajaan atau pembangkang. Pelajar mempunyai hak sbg warga di universti, lagipun mereka sekurang-kurangnya pun berumur 18 tahun ke atas, telah mencapai tahap org dewasa, sudah ada fikiran mereka. Sekiranya sekatan masih ada terhdp pelajar-pelajar kita, dengan adanya akademia yg tidak bebas di negara ini, standard university pasti jatuh mendadak, apatah lagi nak impi-impikan “world university ranking”… Gugurkan tuduhan itu !

Is having a gate opened and letting the event goes smoothly too much? How is that for the balanced, impartial position that a university should assume?? When people expect the university to be a lighthouse beaming the light of wisdom and guiding the ignorant, it collapses. Along with the ignorants, it turns against its residents. Behaving like a creature of the insecure political surroundings will get us know where. Anwar has a lot of flaws, definitely. He is particularly notorious for his 916 lies and influx of Bangladesh votes. But then, we are old enough to know what to take what to ditch. Stop telling us what to do and what to listen! Free UM8!

Dengan ini, saya menulis nama untuk menuntut pihak Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) agar menggugurkan segala tuduhan yang telah dibuat terhadap pelajar Universiti Malaya yang terlibat dalam program “40 Tahun: Dari UM Ke Penjara”. Tindakan pihak HEP yang tidak sehaluan dengan nilai teras UM terutamanya kebebasan akademik adalah amat mengecewakan.
