I really did not think this would take off like this but the momentum is suddenly everywhere and it feels like people are finally noticing how much better our weekends could be without the traffic noise everywhere. Honestly seeing this kind of energy for the street makes me think we might actually have a real shot at changing some minds if we just keep this up.

Take the cars off the main street and watch how much more money people spend. Everyone wants to sit outside and grab a coffee. Why is this so hard??
Living in the town centre makes it impossible to even walk to the shops on a Saturday with all the traffic. This would be brilliant for the atmosphere
Sick of the fumes and the noise. Give the street back to the people for one day a week.
The business owners are short-sighted. A pedestrian zone brings people in. Other towns are doing it and getting way more footfall.
Why do we always go backwards in this town. Just try it for the summer and see what happens. Ridiculous decision

Much safer for children. I hate bringing my toddler into town with cars flying down the street. Fix this.
