Our goal is to establish a fenced in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife. We will develop a beautiful, well-maintained space open to all dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the park's rules and restrictions. We view this park as a community project, in partnership with local business owners, animal lovers and Georgetown county government we can have a safe off leash place for our furry friends to play. We just moved here this spring. We miss having a dog park so much. The socialization for our dogs was a big part of their day and it was great for us too!
If this does happen, I think it would be a good idea.....as long as it is properly maintained......
I think this would be a great thing for Pawley's residents. Surfside and Myrtle Beach have dog parks. Why not?!
We definitely need a place for our dogs to run, especially now since they can not run on the beach!
Would love a fountain or water feature for the dogs to splash in! I have labs. They love the water!
A dog park would be a great addition to the community.
It would be ice to have a place to let our dogs off leash especially for dogs that live in apartments and never get a chance to run free!

My heart is broken over the new leash law on Pawleys Island. I think this would be a great addition to our community.
