The point: please do not take offence to this as it is only to show the need and not stress any issue for the university. we love being there but i can even make a research proposal of how bad it is affecting us with citations and peer-reviews and etc.
Yes, the privilege of using pass or fail has been given twice now. Yes, it should be given again. It was initially given due to the circumstances of the pandemic and since the pandemic hasn't stopped and we aren't on campus, this opportunity shouldn't be taken away from us.
Yes, we are aware that some students in previous semesters took advantage of the attendance marks and did not try at all. That was a bad idea, but that does not change the fact that we still need one. Perhaps the option should be given for only C and below grades. We need that option back because the pandemic hasn't left but our willingness to try has. We know the university is trying to do their best when it comes to helping us but that option helped us more than anything would.
Some students are so demotivated, they do not even want to try because they 'know' they will get bad marks or fail. In real time all of us wouldn't need the option as much, and that much is obvious. But now we do, because the situation not only asks for it but begs for it. Maybe we can re-evaluate the way the option is given and not whether it should be given at all or not.

We need pass and no pass I have problems with exam questions ... I have idea to put to options of questions one English language and one Arabic language with the answer...I don’t understand the meaning of the questions so I lose grade from the exam
If we are going back to campus to do our finals then at least put us the option of pass/fail. Its totally unfair we are studying online and we are doing the finals on campus….. really unfair please give us the pass no pass option since we are going for campus to do our finals.
I failed an exam due to a medical issue and I dropped in the course from A to F. They didn’t allow me to have a makeup exam or drop the course even thought I have a sick leave and I’m an A student. If I didn’t pass the course my GPA will drop from 3.7 to 3.4.
Many professors are relying on students to self-study and haven't adapted their model at all for a better COVID learning experience despite the time. It is unfair for students to suffer in our grades because of that.
In online learning, we are facing difficulties to learn effectively and not doing our projects with quality work because we are teaching our children at the same time, and it’s hard to understand the session via online.

We need the pass and fail because it’s already hard to study online and with all the work pressure and mental pressure we can’t afford also worrying about our cgpa dropping, it’s too stressful and not worth our mental health.
