Due to unfortunate events this year, all of our classes have become online. Many of us aren't doing too well as is and in the end it would affect out GPA negatively. Also, many us have jobs and might now have the resources to meet all of the deadlines. The lack of resources one has shouldn't determine their academic grade this semester. Currently, North Carolina is going into lock down and people are still going to work so they might not get some work done. These circumstances are affecting us all, therefore we need to do something that lowers the negative impacts. A lot of us don't learn as much with online class than face to face classes, so by signing this petition you would be supporting the idea of making our classes this semester pass/fail.

The emails I receive from you about the stress of these online deadlines are heavy to carry but they remind me why this matters. I am still pushing for a meeting with administration even though doors keep closing. We will keep fighting for this change because the current system is not sustainable.

Reaching this new level of support confirms that I am not the only one feeling the weight of these circumstances. It is exhausting to keep pushing when the institution remains silent but seeing your backing keeps me going.

Online class sucks, doesn’t really help me when I have to look at videos of other people explaining how to solve a problem.
Online classes are stressful especially when you don't have that one on one attention with the teacher. Plus like some people, I dont have access to Microsoft Office programs and alot of my professors use it.
It should be an option for students if they want their classes to be pass/fail especially when many students specifically signed up for in class courses because they know online courses are difficult for them to handle.
I was not prepared for online classes, they will affect my grade drastically and negatively.
As all the classes are online it becomes very difficult for us students to grasp certain topics keep up the grade without a physical teacher.

I am a student who excels in face to face , hands on learning. I think it’s unfair that my grades will suffer due to something that is out of my control
